01Our approach
Design. Fabrication. Installation. One team.
Most steel jobs pass through three sets of hands: someone draws it, someone else builds it, and a third crew tries to make it fit on site. Every handoff is a place for the detail to get lost and the schedule to slip.
We hold all three. Connections are detailed against the architect’s intent, members are cut and welded in our own shop to AWS D1.1, and the same people who built the assembly are the ones setting it. When a field condition moves, it gets solved on the spot instead of becoming an RFI.
The result is steel that arrives ready to install and looks the way it was drawn — whether it’s a hidden moment frame carrying a second storey or an exposed handrail people put their hand on every day.

Send the drawings. We take off the steel package, flag the connections that will fight the architecture, price it, and build to the set.

Bring the idea and the site. We develop the design, size the members, and hand you something buildable before anyone commits to a number.
That concept-to-completion approach is why builders keep the same steel contractor on the drawing, in the shop, and on the lift.

How we work
Bring us the plans, or bring us the idea
Some clients arrive with a stamped set. Some arrive with a photo and a rough dimension. Both are a starting point.
What stays the same is the sequence: we agree what the steel has to do before anything is cut, we build it under one roof, and we install it with the crew that knows the assembly.
Design & project development
We work from your drawings or develop the design with you — sizing members, resolving connections, and confirming how the steel meets the surrounding trades before fabrication starts.
Steel fabrication
Members are cut, fit and welded in our own shop, where tolerances are controlled and finishes are consistent — not improvised in a parking lot.

A gate on a narrow lot and a gate across a 24-foot drive are not the same gate. A canopy over a patio and a canopy carrying rooftop equipment are not the same canopy. We size, detail and finish each one for the job it actually has to do.

Recess
Fabricated and installed structural steel including rooftop structural framing, support steel, guardrails and miscellaneous fabricated components. The project required close coordination with the engineer and general contractor to keep fabrication accurate and installation efficient.
W 16th Street
We have been awarded the structural steel package for this custom residence. The project includes wide flange beams, HSS columns, connection plates and miscellaneous structural steel. We are currently awaiting final shop drawing approval before fabrication begins.
Mott Lane
We have been awarded the structural steel package and are currently in the engineering and shop drawing phase. Once approved, we will fabricate the steel in-house and coordinate installation with the project schedule.

Our shop is on Shreveport Boulevard in northeast Houston, and most of our work sits inside the Beltway and the surrounding metro. We travel for projects where the scope justifies it — and we are actively taking on work in the Dallas and Austin markets.
09Common questions
Before you call

Do I need finished drawings before you can quote?
No. If you have a stamped set we will take off the steel package directly. If you have a concept, a site photo and a rough dimension, we will develop the design far enough to price it properly. What we will not do is guess at a number and revise it three times.
Do you handle both structural and decorative steel?
Yes, and usually on the same project. A restaurant buildout often needs a moment frame nobody will ever see and a handrail everyone will touch. Both come out of the same shop, which is why the finishes match.
Is your welding certified?
Our team welds to AWS D1.1 in carbon steel, and we fabricate in stainless as well. If your inspector or engineer needs documentation for a structural weld, ask at the start of the job and we will have it ready.
Do you install, or only fabricate?
Both, and we prefer to do both. Our crews set what our shop builds, so field conditions get resolved by people who know exactly how the assembly was made. We will fabricate to supply-only where that is what a GC wants.
Can you work around an operating business?
Regularly. A large share of our work is restaurant and retail, which means overnight installs, phased scopes and containment so a dining room can open the next morning. Tell us the trading hours before we schedule.
How fast can you respond to a repair?
We run mobile welding 24/7 for time-sensitive work — a failed gate, a damaged rail, a modification that is holding up an inspection. Call (832) 714-9880 rather than emailing if it is urgent.
Which areas do you cover?
The Houston metro is home: Katy, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Richmond, League City, Pearland and Cypress among them. We take projects in the Dallas and Austin markets where the scope justifies the travel.
Are you insured, and do you speak Spanish?
Fully insured, with certificates available on request for any GC that needs one before mobilisation. Y sí — hablamos español, in the office and on site.
